Uganda Peoples' Defence Forces - helping out at Potter's Village
The UPDF (Uganda Peoples' Defence Forces) sent a team of soldiers who have been here for a couple of days on a “community give back project” painting the outside of the immunisation building. The soldiers camped onsite at Potter's Village and have come all the way from the town of Mbarara to help support this project. Once the painting and cleaning project was finished, there was a big ceremony with the Bishop, Right Reverend Godfrey Mbitse and a number of other dignitaries to celebrate the project and plant some trees. We are grateful for all the support shown for this incredible project and thank the UPDF for all their hard work.
