New ART (Anti Retroviral Treatment) clinic
Recently the MC was accredited to run an ART Clinic, which is a department or unit with the purposes of providing HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, care and support to the most vulnerable population. This is one of the steps the Medical Centre needs to go through as we continue to lobby for government support. Construction and renovations have been underway for the last few months and are now complete (please see photo). All the Medical Centre staff have been trained on the management of the ART Clinic and are glad to be able to support more people who are in need of medical support.
