Babies' Home
Opening towards the end of 2007, the first building will be a Babies' Home. Designed in keeping with Ugandan culture, the Home will look after three to six babies.
The new Babies' Home
Work started on the Village early in 2007 when friends of the director cleared the ground of heavy boulders. In February, the contract for the builder was drawn up and signed and the foundations begun.
Forestry land was bought with donations to provide firewood.
Two cows and a calf were bought with a donation from a church in Marple, Stockport.
Rosie and Abigail
As well as grazing the land they will provide milk for the occupants.
